2022 Genie Music Awards

Due to popular demand, I've collected the Stream and Unique Listener data for this year's Genie Music Awards nominations.

Below you can find the charts I've made. I've also calculated the percentage of each value in its respective category and assigned a point value based on the overall judging criteria.

But please note that this is not a prediction or a 100% accurate representation of judging system used for the awards! Genie Music Awards doesn't disclose the full details of the judging criteria, it only says "Digital Sales", which can mean only Streams or only Unique Listeners, or both, or even additional data to which we don't have access (for example downloads or revenue). For each category I made 3 different charts: Streams only, ULs only, and Streams + ULs (50%-50%).

In total Streams and ULs regular releases, collaborations and OSTs are included, while featurings are excluded. Only releases between October 1, 2021 and October 5, 2022 are included.
